We are saved in order to be CHANGED!

as a miserable Caterpillar meanders along the boring brown twig waddling in self pity, he looks up at a colour bursting Butterfly! "I want to be a Butterfly! I want to CHANGE!" He drags his mellow body into his dull looking home which he has recently named "Cocoon". He switches off the light, closes his eyes and thinks to himself-I wouldn't mind if I never woke up! my life is boring, dull, repetitive, simple, mundane, Mediocre! my life is nothing!
The Next day he woke up and stretched out his arms as he yawned, "what the?" He looked down to find attached to his biceps a lavish looking pair of wings and new set of robust muscles to move the new rainbow air machines. He steps out and flies off!

The Caterpillar has CHANGED!

His Purpose is to Change into a Butterfly, Our purpose is to change into the likeness of Christ.

The kingdom grows when God's will is done. His will is to see all men and women grow into the likeness of Christ. When we do this we give God the glory he deserves.

Every Journey begins with a single step.

Changing your external won't change who you are! Win a million on the Lottery, your internal is still the same!

Jesus came to change you from the inside out, open heart surgery!

So the lost would be found, the sick would be healed, the depressed full of joy, the bitter to find forgiveness, the arrogant to become humble and the sinful to be forgiven.

Jesus came to Transform, Jesus came to bring CHANGE!

Moses went from being a shepherd to leading over a million people

Joseph went from being in jail to Prime Minister

David went from watching the sheep to being a Warrior King over all Israel

Jonah went from being stubborn to a man God used to bring revival

Matthew went from being a tax collector to a disciple and writer of a book in the Bible

Paul went from being a Christian slayer to a passionate preacher

Mary went from being a teenage mum to the worlds most famous mother

Jesus went from Being a carpenter to the Saviour of the world

Question: do you feel like the caterpillar waiting for God to use you for something? is life boring? Mundane? are you letting God CHANGE you and mould you how he wants to? are you ready to transform into his likeness no matter the cost?

People want more of Jesus but they are not willing to be more like Jesus!

Let him CHANGE you and you will find your wings, destiny and purpose! you will feel like your flying!
